Oral Piercing

logo.gifOral piercings are any piercing that enters the oral caverty. Following are a list of examples.
Tongue Piercing
Labret Piercing, which includes
side lip and lip,
upper lip,
philtrum, and cheek.
Sub lingual

Most oral piercing take roughly 6 to 8 weeks to settle down or superficialy heal. After this 8 weeks your piercing should look and feel virtually healed. This is dependant on the person and healing time can vary. Most Oral piercing will need a smaller piece of jewellery after 2 to 4 weeks of being done as a longer/ larger piece is usually inserted to allow the initial swelling.
